There is no current specialty in the practive of Dental Sleep Medicine but the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine grants Diplomate Statues on dentists who have shown proficiency in Dental Sleep Medicine, presented cases and passed a Board Exam. D,ABDSM is the highest level of qualification available to dentists treating sleep apnea.
